How's this for an old picture?

So I've realized that ever since I moved from my old Earthlink account to this new domain, I haven't done very much in the way of presenting ANYTHING of a summary/synopsis of all the jumbled bits in my head.

So... lifting a little from the old synopsis I kept on the Earthlink site, here's a one-two sheet on the players of our little tale:

Our Heroes

Bobby Huxley/The Wanderer- A lost greaser from a 1950's oil boom town, Bobby is thrown through a portal into Faerie and returns to Earth, unbeknownst to him, five years later. Bearing hands of cursed iron and the scars of a violent confrontation with Kurlos, Bobby is forced to help find Tisandra safe harbor, first against his will and then with a drive as raging as his hotrod car.

Zuzu Huxley- Bobby's little sister. A thirteen year old tomboy with a soul far wiser than her age, Susan (or "Zuzu" as her friends and family call her) stows away in her brother's car and ends up drawn into an epic adventure by his side. Kind-hearted and forgiving, she can also be a spitfire when crossed or patronized. It's her possession of faerie tale lore, her goofy sense of humor and her tons of moxy that keeps Bobby out of too much trouble and on the moral straight & narrow.

Tisandra- Born of a union between warring fae, Tisandra is a reluctant heiress to the throne of her vast and besieged kingdom. Forced to flee across America to seek help for her people, Tisandra is slowly growing into her own destiny; as a woman, a warrior and as queen of a magical world. But she will need the help of a motley collection of misfits to reach the mysterious isle known as Mag Mell. If only to find her trials just beginning.

True Thomas- Sage, poet and wizard to two generations of Tisandra's family
, the prophet known as True Thomas sees the future and the way to Tisandra's only hope. It is his prognostic vision that will guide her to the means of regaining her kingdom from Hell itself. Even if it costs him his life.

Clarence Peyroux- Agent provocateur, guerilla prankster, revolutionary... Clarence is the kind of joker you want fighting with you, not against you. Trying to make his way back to the travelling subculture circus he helped to build, Clarence hitches a ride with Bobby, Zuzu and Tisandra, with no idea the roller coaster he's signed up for. He's just interested in seeing if it flies off the track.

Rossum- Built as the ultimate robotic weapon against Communists, Rossum instead finds a loophole in his programming that opens him up to the concept of 'God' and seeks to understand the grandiose beauty of the "Prime Creator". Keeping company with Bobby's ragtag crew, Rossum is the spiritual center of the bunch, the weapon of mass destruction who wishes only to be a simple monk.

Noah-
The walking harbor and grave of life, Noah is an exiled fae living a secret... that within him an entire world exists. Land and air, sunlight and the moon. A world as vast as our own. His body is a living zoo for mythical beasts and creatures the world hasn't seen in a millenium. And he will do whatever it takes to protect them.

Our Villains

Kurlos
- The son of a Shadow Court goblin mother and a demon father, Kurlos served alongside Malacar, Tisandra's father, during the Canaille Wars but returned the friendship with betrayal. Cunning, sly and a treacherous sycophant to the authority of his own father, Kurlos will do whatever is necessary to trade Faerie to Hell in return for limitless power.

Slaughtermouth-
A compatriot of Kurlos's during the Canaille Wars, Slaughtermouth is the twisted captain of a floating galleon of bloodthirsty goblins known as The Dread Lanterns (named for their knack of hollowing their victim's decapitated heads and using them as lanterns aboard the ship). Dispatched to make a swift capture of Tisandra and even quicker death of Bobby, Slaughtermouth fuels the sails of his hellish ship with the suffering of any living thing he can snare.

The Huntsman- Summoned by Kurlos on two previous occasions, the Huntsman and his hellish-looking hounds are the shadowy embodiment of Death incarnate and cannot be stopped once released.

The Custodians- The real men in black. Agents of the shadows. Reality's antibodies. Collectively known as The Custodians, in America they are the faceless and emotionless instruments of Earth's inflexible reality. Soldiers of atomic power, conformity and cold science. Who they answer to is an even greater mystery.
