Introducing the only girl who opts for doughnuts over boys, courtesy of the pencil of my friend Rev!
I can't stop looking at this picture. It's like the ones Wayne did up for me, showing Tisandra's expressions, Bobby looking skeptical and Clarence stroking his chin stripe. It just makes me feel like a kid with a new toy, seeing them realized, seeing them almost look back out into the world. The Zuzu I've always imagined. Thanks, Rev. I feel like a proud papa seeing his kids being born. Just the impetus I needed to work out the Tulsa abandonment portion of the story.

•The results of Bobby and Zuzu's return and the impact of those missing five years on their parents MUST be character driven, not plot-driven. No cheesy 'kill parents, hero swings into his destiny' action. Fuck no. It has to come from genuine humanity. Discussing this in the car with Patrick and the idea rolled in. Bobby isn't tethered to his mom and dad as much as Zuzu is. Seeing that he has to cop to his responsibility to Tisandra and leave small town Tulsa behind, wouldn't the greater sacrifice come from Zuzu's choice to go with him? To make sure he comes back safe? Bobby ultimately has nothing left in Tulsa to gamble with. And a curse hanging over his head like a sword. But Zuzu... Zuzu has a lot to lose. But a lot of love for her brother to make sure he sorts himself out okay by the end of this. Mom and Pop don't have to die to propel them further down their road trip. Not at all.
• Rossum – Silicon disguises that fall to sand when finished with? Hologram disguises? Or is the Roswell bent enough stuffing as it is? Is he better off with his origins and his search for God. Top-heavy, top-heavy, top-heavy.
• Noah isn’t captured by Custodians. He’s taken by Kurlos. I don’t know where the Custodians fit into this, though some alliance between Kurlos and the Custodians has to come down, somehow and at some point. But Kurlos NEEDS the White Stag to summon The Huntsman. And Noah either has it or knows where it is (better that he has it, leading Kurlos to kill Noah to get to it). So somehow Kurlos has to lure the Living Ark into his grasp. Soooo…. When Bobby first takes on Noah, maybe he does hex blast him, which coughs up all of the menagerie within Noah. And maybe they spend a certain amount of time trying to recover the animals for Noah. Bobby’s fuck-up, basically. Which still makes Noah a very powerful piece of the game, White Stag non-withstanding.
